Big Buddies Snowman wants to know if you’ve stopped by In Stitches to look at the ton of new merchandise that Ellen and the Stitching Ladies brought back from Nashville.
The Big Buddies aren’t brand new, but I do love them.
These lovely colors of Dinky Dyes are new.
So are these Creative Needle Art kits. “Hen on a Nest.”
And Woodland Mini Santa
With his kit’s floss–Presencia.
By Mani di Donna, a lovely traditional sampler: “Eliza Allen.”
and the sweetest “Roses Bouquet pillows.”
We have lots of Adam and Eve samplers. This one is “Hannah Allison” by Threads of Memory. We have other Threads of Memory samplers and I hope I included them–wonderful, each one.
Gorgeous red “Broderie a Paris” by Sue Hillis.
By Erica Michaels, a berry pendant and needlebook: “By the Sea.”
Beautiful and regal (plus lots of birds): Queen’s Palace Sarah Fealton, 1840, Victorian Rose Needlearts.
Also by Victorian Rose, “Frances Pink.”
Several new charts by Blackbird Designs. I love them all: “Feliz Navidad, ” “Dear Heart” and “Sewing Bird” and “The Winter is Past.”
By Hands On Design, Chalk for the Home “Tulip House.”
Noteworthy Needle’s “Tray Necessaire” behind the tray and accessories.
Sarah Ann Marven 1838 by Merry Wind Farm.
The Scarlett House’s wonderful Adam and Eve: “Martha Pudsey 1835.”
And a small, cheerful Easter project by Tiny Modernist.
This is what the snowman is looking for: his buddies on Praiseworthy Stitches’ “December Snow.” I snagged one of these for myself; I collect all the winter/Christmas charts.
This is just the beginning of our posts from the Nashville show. We also have the trunk shows from Queenstown Sampler Designs and Samplers Revisited and needlepoint from Pepperberry Designs. I’ll show you the trunk shows this weekend; it was too dark for good photos of everything. And I have lots more cross stitch, fabrics and fibers to show you in the coming days.
Remember also that we will be open Saturday from 10-5 and Sunday from 12:30-4:30. The Needlework show continues at Woodlawn Plantation (every day but Tuesdays through the month of March). See the show, have a nibble at the café and then stop by to treat yourself to something new at In Stitches.
For questions or to order, please call 703-360-4600. We are located at 8800 F Pear Tree Village Court, a shopping center north of the Woodlawn exit on Route 1 in Alexandria. Look for the McDonalds, and we are to the right.
We will be open 10-5 Monday through Saturday and 12:30-4:30 each Sunday during March.
Happy Stitching and check back soon!
